Indian ecommerce market is quite a big playground, especially for these 2 companies, Amazon and Flipkart. They always fight to be the best in the market.
Many of my friends told me that Amazon is better in terms of overall experience. But I never really believed that statement, the reason being the discounts offered by Flipkart. There we can clearly see that Flipkart offers some very good deals. And at the end customer gets the product in cheaper prices. But recently I had an experience which challenges this.
In this big billion offer by Flipkart, after spending around 6-8 hrs in the night, I was able to order iPhone 12 Mini and I was damn happy, as it was a good deal - 34k INR. Awesome 😁... At the time of ordering I was in Spain and hence I used the feature provided by flipkart to reschedule delivery. But I never expected that this feature can turn into nightmare. After couple of days, THE ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED AUTOMATICALLY without any reason just before 2 days of arrival. This goes completely over my head, now I'm trying to reach out Flipkart customer support only via chats / email (as I'm in Spain for now), I have to explain them every bit of information again and again to every new customer executive and all they do is...

Basically it's not helpful at all. They are not able to understand the issue, there 2 major features have flaw. Here are some screenshots of the conversation with their highly supportive (irony) support team:
The chat still goes on, these are just few glimpses. So, basically moral of the story is Flipkart offers cheap prices as probably their quality of platform and quality of support is designed similarly with quite a lot of bugs.
Amazon on the other hand I believe definitely provide better customer experience, probably as far I knw, in my knowns no one has faced any big major issues with Amazon. But with flipkart I have faced issues, twice, last time it was because of COVID, but this time it's clearly the flaw in their platform. These are the words of their customer support: Believe me, if there is something more I could have done, I would have surely done it for you
